Every job is remote. The badge says how remote the company is.

Badges describe the company, not the job’s location, which stays as it is today. Only the two strongest tiers get a badge, so it stays a real signal.

Fully remote company

No offices. Everyone is remote.

  • No HQ or office anyone is expected to visit
  • Leadership is remote too
  • Meetups and off-sites are occasional

Remote-first company

Remote by default. Offices optional.

  • Most of the company works remotely
  • Hubs exist, but nobody is required to go in
  • Remote people get the same career path

No badge

Remote-friendly, or not yet rated.

  • Office-centred company hiring some remote roles
  • Or a company not reviewed yet
  • The job still lists as normal

How a company gets its badge

Step 1: Set once, on the company

The badge is set once for a company, so every job from that company inherits it.

Step 2: Employer declares it

Post a Job asks three yes/no questions: any offices? anyone required in office? leadership remote?

Step 3: Jobspresso verifies

Checked during the existing manual review. The badge only shows once Jobspresso approves it.
