Overview

As the leader of the Ads Product team reporting to the Chief Product Officer, you will have the opportunity to have a meaningful impact in the lives of millions of people and local businesses.

Now is a great time to build new products at Yelp. We are transforming the company from being known as simply a restaurant review site to offering services that modernize the experience of interacting with all types of businesses from restaurants to contractors. Building these end to end experiences presents a fascinating set of marketplace and business challenges. The ads business and core product is central to Yelp’s growth – iterating on the existing set of ad products and building fully new ones that touch all parts of the marketplace is central to our success.

The Ads Product team is currently a group of about 15 talented ads PMs located throughout North America and Europe, ranging from mid-level PMs to senior ICs and GPMs. We’re looking for a leader to set the product strategy for the core ads offering and to drive the monetization strategy going forward. This role encompasses things like leading our ad bidding and pacing strategies, ad targeting products and full page optimizations approaches, syndication and retargeting product portfolios, among others.

We’d love to have you apply, even if you don’t feel you meet every single requirement in this posting. At Yelp, we’re looking for great people, not just those who simply check off all the boxes.
