About the Team:
InVision is looking for an exceptional Technical Recruiting Manager to lead a technical recruiting team responsible for sourcing, screening, qualifying candidates and supporting our high-growth engineering organization.
This role will act as a true partner to the business to identify talent gaps, implement innovative processes to ensure we have the most robust programs for diversity and employer branding and scale the team to deliver against our hiring plans. The ideal candidate will work effectively with internal and external stakeholders and candidates, possess great communication skills, have the ability to shift gears at a moment’s notice and enjoy the challenges of helping to build a great organization of talented individuals.
What You’ll Do:
- Act as trusted advisor and consultant to senior business leaders to define and develop strategic hiring plans to recruit for Engineering and Data Science professionals.
- Work in partnership with Talent Acquisition leaders to define and build out recruiting programs.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and development opportunities junior team members.
- Ensure the team is driving continuous improvement in KPIs relative to the market and looking for opportunities to create additional capacity.
- Manage recruiters and support staff and responsible for the performance management and hiring of these employees.
- Manage full-cycle technical recruiting process with a focus on strong hiring manager partnerships and candidate advocacy.
- Conduct thorough interviews to vet technical baseline abilities and soft skills.
- Focus on providing a great candidate experience at every step in the process.
- Partner with and influence senior Engineering leaders to create and identify ideal candidate profiles based on InVisions growing business needs.
- Strategize various ways to build talent pipelines and execute on tactical research, referral generation, events and sourcing campaigns.
- Facilitate interview and hiring decision-making process with technical interviewers and hiring managers.
- Regularly track pipeline, priorities and performance data to share with internal stakeholders.
Who You Have:
- You have 6+ years technical recruiting experience preferably for a high growth tech company with a combination of corporate and agency experience strongly preferred.
- 2+ years experience leading and managing a technical recruiting team.
- Familiar with cutting edge ATS systems like Greenhouse, Zoho Recruit, RecruiterBox, etc.
- Experience recruiting tech professionals in the Cloud/SaaS/PaaS/IaaS space a plus.
- A passion for staying abreast of the latest industry trends in recruiting, including new tools and cutting-edge technologies, and a willingness to share this knowledge with greater TA organization.
- You’re extremely organized. You will be interacting with dozens of candidates for several roles and in different stages of the process at any given time.
- You have a proven track record for assessing technical talent beyond matching keywords on a resume.
- You’re adaptable and thrive in a fast-paced environment with pivots and changes.
- You’re adept at working on a wide variety of technical roles.
- You’re a self-starter with a clear bias for action and results.
- You understand how to develop strong partnerships with hiring managers, interviewers and team members involved in the hiring process.
- You have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- You’ve built sourcing best practices targeting passive, referral and active candidates.
- Plus: You have experience working with a fully distributed team in a remote capacity.
