As a Technical Marketing Engineer at Databricks, you will report to the VP of Product Marketing and create technical content across several popular data and ML technologies like Delta Lake, Apache Spark, and MLflow. You will work with product and field engineering to create technical blogs, notebooks, product guides, product videos and present at events. You will also work with marketing to develop the content strategy that guides the data and ML practitioners lifecycle from discovery to adoption.
The impact you will have:
- Craft compelling demos and use cases that are rooted in the problems customers are trying to solve with data.
- Improve the overall ability for customers to see and try the Databricks platform to better help data teams evaluate the product.
- Partner with Product Marketing, Product Management, and Solutions Architects to make it simple for Sales to demonstrate Databricks with customers through reference architectures, technical know-how documents, and enablement
- Build a demonstration environment to showcase different product and industry use cases
- Support product launch activities and assist with trade shows, conferences, and technical sales training
- Respond to customer, field, and analyst inquiries regarding how Databricks technology works
What we look for:
- 5+ years of technical marketing experience (or related experience) in an enterprise-focused B2B technology company
- Software development experience in data analytics, data engineering, or data science
- Experience marketing or selling a technical product
- Examples of customer-facing demos and content that you’ve developed
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field of study such as computer science.
