About the role

We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to drive product design excellence at Rula. In this role, you will join a collaborative team of product designers, product managers, engineers, and researchers who are passionate about creating intuitive and impactful experiences for patients and providers. You will be responsible for designing end-to-end product experiences that address real user needs and contribute to our mission of making mental healthcare accessible to everyone.

What you will do

  • Lead end-to-end design for key product areas, from discovery and ideation through to delivery and iteration.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and researchers to define problems, explore solutions, and deliver high-quality designs.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that communicate design intent clearly.
  • Conduct and participate in user research to understand user needs and validate design decisions.
  • Contribute to and evolve our design system to ensure consistency and scalability across products.
  • Present design work to stakeholders and incorporate feedback to improve outcomes.
  • Mentor other designers and help raise the overall quality of design at Rula.

What we are looking for

  • 5+ years of experience designing and shipping consumer-facing products, ideally in healthcare or a related industry.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design work, from discovery to delivery.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating closely with product and engineering partners.
  • Strong skills in interaction design, visual design, and prototyping.
  • Experience with design systems and a commitment to creating accessible, inclusive designs.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate design decisions clearly.
  • A passion for improving mental healthcare and making a positive impact on peoples lives.

Additional information

Compensation: The expected pay range for this role is US$180,000 – US$221,000. Location: US, remote. Rula is a remote-first company. We are a proud equal opportunity employer.
