The Opportunity

We’re looking for a creative and collaborative Solutions Engineer, someone who knows the impact of semantic and generative AI and knows how to solve customer problems alongside product and engineering teams.

As a Solutions Engineer, you will be a founding member of a growing Solutions team. You will work directly with enterprise customers to understand their hardest decision problems and design production systems on RelationalAI’s semantic platform, deployed natively in Snowflake.

RelationalAI’s core mission is to help customers build Decision Agents for their business, leveraging our unique semantic platform deployed natively in Snowflake. Solutions within RelationalAI is something of an umbrella term covering delivery, architecture, and applied product work with customers.

What You’ll Do

  • Understand customer business needs and translate them into relational knowledge graph and decision problems.
  • Own the end-to-end implementation of RelationalAI solutions for enterprise customers, from discovery through production.
  • Shape and propose AI-powered decision architectures that deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering to translate field learnings into productised capabilities.
  • Champion RelationalAI’s perspective in the market, and publish, present, and advocate for high-integrity, explainable AI.
  • Lead implementation and own post-sale solution delivery, developing and deploying PyRel models that reason over customer business ontologies, embedded directly in the Snowflake AI Data Cloud.
  • Run design and delivery end to end: requirements, ontology modelling, orchestration, integration (APIs and orchestration pipelines), testing and optimisation.
  • Develop reference architectures, solution patterns and proofs of concept that showcase what RelationalAI makes possible.
  • Partner with customers’ technical and business teams to model complex decisions using RelationalAI’s semantic layer.
  • Build repeatable modelling patterns and example models that accelerate adoption and scale.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to bring the voice of real enterprise deployments back into the core platform.
  • Help customers and partners operationalise RelationalAI inside complex enterprise environments, including data governance, change management and adoption.
  • Contribute to RelationalAI’s modelling tooling and patterns, including reusable components and libraries of decision patterns.
  • Complement the Solutions team with additional skills, such as app development, data engineering, pre-sales engineering or enablement.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years in a customer-facing solutions, delivery, or consulting role working with enterprise customers.
  • Strong SQL and Python skills, with experience building data-driven applications or decision systems.
  • Experience with semantic modelling, knowledge graphs, ontologies, or similar approaches to modelling business logic.
  • A strong communicator with customers, experienced in working directly with customers to understand their problems, design solutions, and deliver impactful results.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and system-design skills, with an instinct for prioritising customer value over technical novelty.
  • Experience with modern data stacks, with Snowflake strongly preferred, alongside tools like dbt, Airflow, Spark or cloud data warehouses (BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks).
  • Experience scoping, designing, and delivering production systems for enterprise customers.
  • Comfort working in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and shaping your own work.
  • A track record of translating complex business problems into working technical solutions.
  • Curiosity about semantic technology, knowledge graphs, and explainable AI.

The base salary range for this role is $170,000 to $200,000. This role also offers bonus and equity. The final offer will depend on factors such as experience, skills, and alignment with role requirements.
