We’re looking for a unique talent to join our software engineering team. Already an established, profitable consumer business, our enterprise platform is growing exponentially, and we’re looking for an experienced software engineer with aspirations to coordinate high value partnerships through excellent sales and software engineering.
What you’ll do
You will have technical ownership of enterprise engagements and integrations between our learning platform–MyGA–and our B2B clients’ systems, working directly with enterprise clients on their engagements.
You’ll have a comprehensive knowledge of our products, their capabilities and their APIs, being able to speak directly with our clients’ decision makers and technical experts on how to maximize the value of their engagement.
Your expertise with single sign-on will enable hundreds of thousands of learners across the globe to onboard with our systems quickly and easily.
Your thorough understanding of API design and development will help guide partners through the process of grokking and building software against our systems, as well as understanding their requirements and implementing them into our software, and helping to make the software more resilient.
Who you are
We’re looking for a uniquely talented individual who is both an experienced software engineer, and an excellent communicator and problem solver. You should have experience in coordinating software projects and managing stakeholder expectations, both internal and external. Ideally, your experience would include:
- Building software with Ruby, the Ruby on Rails framework, and its related ecosystem
- Implementing and configuring single sign-on with SAML, integrating with third-parties using Active Directory, IBM Cloud Identity, etc
- Designing, expanding and reinforcing versioned, high-trafficked production APIs and related tools
- Collaborating cross-functionally with enterprise sales and engagement, design, and product management
- Communicating directly with technical and non-technical partners to plan efficient engagements, translating complex technical concepts into business friendly language for stakeholders, and business priorities into deliverables
- Coordinating technical scoping and implementation across multiple product teams and clients’ technical teams, including managing deliverables and timelines
- Identifying areas of opportunity for improvement and iteration in the products and services we offer external clients
