You’ll be working with a talented group of engineers all around the world to make the Web a better place, and impact the everyday lives of hundreds of millions of users.

The Firefox Developer tools have special hooks into many parts of the Firefox platform.

As a Developer Tools platform Engineer at Mozilla, you will…

* Create and maintain tools that are used daily by developers like you.
* Uphold our standards for quality and performance by performing code reviews, creating automated tests, profiling and debugging our code.
* Collaborate with a geographically distributed development team.
* Work in the open as part of the Mozilla open source project, and engage with Mozilla’s global community.
* Use C++ and Rust to further interface the Developer Tools front-end code to the Firefox platform code.

Your Professional Profile

* Good C++ skills and a strong desire to learn.
* A thorough understanding of web standards and how browsers work.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work with a geographically distributed team.
* Ability to quickly learn and be effective with a large code base.
* A desire to create solutions for developers.
* Knowledge of Javascript and/or Rust is a plus.
