THE ROLE

We’re hiring a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our team! As a SDET working with our growing Platform team, you’ll be primarily focused on building and maintaining a robust suite of automated tests. Here are some examples of things you might do:

  • Develop and maintain software test cases and test suites for new and existing features
  • Ensure that quality issues and defects are identified, documented, tracked and resolved
  • Work closely with development and product teams to ensure acceptance criteria are met through exploratory and scripted testing
  • Lead and inspire our development team to excellence by championing robust testing practices and streamlined processes for optimal software quality

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Milk Moovement seeks to have a diverse, inclusive, team-oriented, and curiosity-driven herd. Our technical team lives to find unique solutions to the challenges inherent to digital supply chains, and we expect you will be excited to do so as well. You must have prior quality assurance experience with a modern web/mobile stack, but experience working in the dairy industry is not required! We will teach you all there is to know about the industry beginning with our Dairy 101 course. It is definitely more complicated than you think and that is why we do what we do! We expect you to have prior exposure to test automation frameworks and possess a strong desire  to contribute to the growth of testing practices within our organization.

WHAT ELSE

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript
  • Experience with mobile testing and automation frameworks, preferred but not required:
  • Playwright
  • Testim
  • Familiarity with writing documentation to ensure comprehensive test coverage
  • Collaborative and team-oriented mindset
