About Dropzone AI

Dropzone AI is an AI SOC analyst that automates the tier-one work of a security operations center (SOC). Dropzone AI’s AI SOC analysts investigate every alert, determine whether it is a true threat or benign, and act on the findings, autonomously, 24/7. With a one-week deployment, Dropzone AI’s system integrates with existing security tools, learns your environment, and delivers analyst-grade investigation reports that allow SOC teams to focus on real threats.

What you will do

  • Own our documentation architecture, strategy, and roadmap to make it easy for customers to adopt, implement, and use Dropzone AI.
  • Create, manage, and maintain content for all products and features, including user guides, installation and configuration guides, API documentation, release notes, troubleshooting content, FAQs, and in-product content.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners across product management, engineering, design, support, and customer success.
  • Review and edit documentation created by others for accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
  • Set the standards for content architecture and voice and tone, and champion consistency across all docs and UI copy.
  • Measure and improve documentation effectiveness, and continuously improve our content.
  • Evangelize documentation as a product, and help establish a docs-driven culture.

What we are looking for

  • 6+ years of experience as a technical writer in B2B SaaS, ideally in cybersecurity.
  • Experience designing and executing content strategy, and a portfolio of technical documentation samples.
  • Deep understanding of complex technical products and a passion for explaining them clearly.
  • Experience writing API documentation, user guides, and technical documentation across the product lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of information architecture, UX writing, and content design principles.
  • Strong collaboration, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly and translate complex concepts into accessible content.

Benefits

Dropzone AI offers 100% remote work, flexible time off, and a comprehensive benefits package, with a salary range of $140,000 to $155,000 and equity participation for this role.
