Location: Sunnyvale, Scottsdale, or Remote in NYC or LA (NYC Preferred) 

We are looking for a Sr. Manager, Offline Marketing– Someone who is a pro in the media industry, and is passionate about its continuous changes. You know branded TV, digital brand video, radio, digital audio and out-of-home media portfolios. You bring significant media agency or client-side marketing experience that makes the lingo, a second language spoken. You know what it takes to dig deep into the data; to prove the success of media planned and bought. Ultimately, bringing public awareness to the Go Daddy brand.

What does the job entail?

  • Working closely with the Director of Offline Marketing to ensure plans tie to the overall vision of Go Daddy
  • Supervising Media Specialist; safeguarding flawless execution of day-today business operations
  • Works directly with Agencies on planning and buying media
  • Managing the day-to-day functions of the Television, Radio and other marketing channels
  • Managing a multi-million dollar annual budget
  • Negotiating ad costs with vendors
  • Identifying and evaluating media buying opportunities
  • Placing media buys with networks and cable stations in the US and Internationally
  • Project management in working with internal departments such as Go Daddy Productions, Legal, PR, Accounting and external vendors in order to ensure campaigns are executed correctly, on-time and within budget.
  • Understanding of media demographics, media metrics (ratings, household impressions, cpm)
  • Reading results and interpreting data
  • Constant evaluation of media opportunities
  • Reporting campaign results to executive staff

  • Must have reporting/analytical experience related to Direct Marketing
  • Work well and be comfortable with math calculations and analysis
  • Must be able to manage and organize multiple projects at one time and assure completion of projects in a timely manner
  • Must work well with outside vendors, representing GoDaddy.com in a professional manner
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively (written, oral, presentation) with a variety of audiences from Television Sales Reps to Marketing Partners to Call Center Staff, etc…
  • Must have intermediate to advanced MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
  • Willing to assume other responsibilities as needed
  • Education BA+ or equivalent.  Marketing emphasis a plus.
