Milk Moovement is a remote/hybrid team of more than 45 diverse employees working to provide our clients with actionable intelligence to everyone involved in delivering milk to your favorite grocery store. Our systems are presently responsible for managing over 10 percent of all milk produced in North America… and we are not stopping there!

THE JOB: 

In the role as Full Stack Developer, the successful cowndidate will be responsible for:

  • Cross-team collaboration to drive innovation and improve Milk Moovement standards.
  • Writing efficient, readable, well-tested code to accomplish tasks and solve technical problems.
  • Coding APIs, tools and applications in JavaScript.
  • Keeping up to date with current trends, seeking out new tech and understanding how it can be leveraged to improve our products.
  • Designing new systems and clearly documenting approach.
  • Taking an idea from inception to delivery.
  • Stay open-minded and look beyond your stack to solve complex problems.
  • Test-driven development.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • ~5 years full stack experience or equivalent.
  • Expert knowledge of Javascript with extensive experience in React or Express.
  • Proven proficiency in code review.
  • Requirements gathering wizard.
  • Passion and obsession for writing beautiful code.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication in English.
  • Very comfortable working in team environment.
  • Comfort working with cloud-based infrastructure such as Amazon AWS (or similar).
  • Motivated with an eye for detail.

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Knowledge using tools such as Jira, Git and Slack among others.
  • Experience working in a start-up and/or smaller team environment.
  • Experience with agile project delivery.
  • Previous working history with MongoDB.
