Overview
GitHub is seeking a Senior Director of Demand Generation to join its Demand Generation Team. This role will lead both the inbound and outbound demand generation teams to drive a predictable lead funnel for sales.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of metrics focused marketers across integrated marketing, outbound demand generation, channel marketing, field marketing, partner marketing, and marketing operations.
- Drive a metrics driven organization that measure many simultaneous multi-channel campaigns.
- Understand how to target customers based on buyer personas or target markets.
- Build trusting relationship with the sales leadership team to drive demand for both corporate and enterprise sales teams.
- Motivate and lead team to drive highly effective and creative marketing campaigns for our key products.
- Focus on the demand funnel from the top of funnel all the way through to SAL creation.
- Use your expert website optimization skills to drive new leads.
- Partner with marketing operations to create reports and analyze data to drive your demand strategy.
- Create outbound demand generation campaigns that target top potential customers.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in a growth focused role.
- 6+ years of management experience.
- 4+ years of experience focused on developer products.
- Experience working closely with sales leaders to prioritize and create a strategy around lead creation.
- An understanding of the Challenger methodology.
- An analytical background with an understanding of the demand funnel.
