What does the SEO Manger do?

The SEO Manager’s role is to be the team’s go-to expert for all things SEO.

We’re looking for an SEO Manager who will:

• Focus on increasing traffic to the SLH site through various campaigns
• Monitor on-site SEO and provide direction on necessary updates and changes, include site architecture
• Analyze SEO and Google Analytics to make date-driven decisions that guide strategy for content creation and linkbuilding

• Communicate SEO objectives across various teams

The ideal candidate for this position should have an entrepreneurial mind-set and be ready to take on and initiate new projects as he or she sees the need arise.

Student Loan Hero is a fully remote team. We have team members all over the world in cities including NYC, Austin, Portland, and Santiago.

Since we’re literally all over the map, communication using Slack, Gmail, Google Hangouts, and other tools is key for us. Don’t worry—you won’t be alone. We communicate regularly (and often with GIPHYs) throughout the day.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years experience working in SEO
• Familiarity with technical on-site SEO
• Experience with lnikbuilding campaigns
• Experience conducting site audits
• Experience conducting competitive analysis
• Familiarity with WordPress and Google Analytics
• Interest in personal finance and helping others improve their financial lives
• Availability to work full time
• Authorized to work in the United States

Preferred:

• Degree from or background in quantitative field of study
• Familiarity with SEMRush, Ahrefs, and other SEO tools
• HTML proficiency
• Experience with WordPress
