Overview

With over 20 million users worldwide, Trello’s entrepreneurial sales team is growing faster than ever. For our Recruiting team, that means building our Enterprise sales team quickly and efficiently, while maintaining our extremely high standards and nurturing our unique company culture. This is an exciting chance for a recruiter with a focus on sales to make an impact on Trello’s growth.

You will…

  • proactively source applicants to fill our pipeline with top sales applicants worldwide.
  • own the full recruiting cycle for sales roles, from internal planning and kick-off meetings to long-term pipeline development.
  • communicate extensively with applicants over a variety of channels, explaining open positions to them and assessing whether they’d be good fits.
  • coordinate with our Head of Sales, interviewers, and other internal stakeholders to plan and improve our evaluation processes.
  • serve as the voice of our brand and culture as the first Trellist applicants speak to, and then support applicants through their evaluation process and beyond (whether they join Trello or become part of our long-term network of contacts).
  • communicate information about our sales pipeline to our Director of Recruiting and the rest of our recruiting team for the purpose of regular status reporting and tracking.
  • participate in weekly team meetings and strategy sessions.
  • collaborate within our robust culture of “embracing remote” using Trello, HipChat, and other tools.
  • serve as a cultural ambassador internally, as a member of our People team, and externally to all sales applicants.
  • Note: this is a one-year contract role, with the potential for longer term renewal.

Qualities We Cultivate and Look For…

  • Empathy. As recruiters, we are people evaluating people. We try to step into each other’s shoes. We foster strong, positive relationships with each other and with our applicants.
  • Team. We focus on building and nurturing teams, not reeling in “rock stars” one by one.
  • Active listening. This is more than just hearing each other. We truly concentrate on each other’s and our applicants’ signals. We consider active listening fundamental to strong communication.
  • Deliberate, disciplined decision-making. We don’t shoot from the hip. We sweat the details. We act quickly while also factoring long-term consequences into our decisions.
  • Autonomy. We trust each other to take the lead on a variety of projects and ideas. We count on each other’s active contributions in order to improve ourselves and our work.

You have…

  • three or more years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in-house with a high-growth company.
  • experience recruiting for a variety of sales roles, including at the enterprise sales level.
  • strong leadership skills enabling you to own evaluation processes and run planning meetings.
  • outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • the proven ability to operate in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
  • exceptional ability to multi-task and handle a high volume of roles and applicants.
  • the ability to synthesize large volumes of information about many applicants from difference sources.
  • an appreciation for details and a commitment to consistency across applicants and processes.
  • the ability to build positive, productive relationships across all levels of an organization within a culture that “embraces remote.” (Roughly 65% of Trellists work remotely.)
  • a proactive approach to all things recruiting-related, with a willingness to take initiative on new projects and ideas.
  • experience documenting and tracking recruiting data.
  • superb interpersonal and organizational skills.
