Your Role

• As a product marketer at Doist, you’ll be responsible for creating educational content to help our users at every stage of engagement. Your words will represent our brand voice and company values to millions of people around the world.
• You’ll work closely with members across all of Doist’s teams – marketing, support, design, and engineering – to identify users’ needs and develop a comprehensive product content strategy around those needs.
• You’ll write and manage a wide variety of content including new feature announcements, user guides, support articles, user stories, how-to blog posts, and anything else you think up that can help our users reach their goals.

REQUIREMENTS

About You

• You’re passionate about the craft of writing. You care deeply about writing with clarity and precision for human beings. You know that editing is 90% of the writing process.
• Before writing any piece of content, you love getting into the mind of your audience. Are they feeling frustrated? Excited? Motivated? Confused? What information do they need? How can you make their lives easier? You’re able to adapt content, voice, and style to each unique situation.
• You’re tech-savvy and love figuring out how to use each and every little feature of an app. You enjoy geeking out about the details. A bonus if you’ve worked in a tech setting in the past.
• You’re willing to ask questions, adapt to feedback, engage in respectful debate, speak up when something doesn’t seem right, and defend your point of view. You bring an open mind to your work.
• You’re excited to take on a challenge­. You may not always know the right answer, but you’re willing to be proactive in finding solutions, coming up with new ideas, and continuing to learn.

This is a remote position, so you will be free to work from wherever you please on whatever schedule works best for you. You’ll also have the option to work from our office in Porto, Portugal or rent a co-working space in the city where you live.
