Overview

Here at Trello, we’re always looking for passionate individuals to join our team. While we do not currently have any open Product Manager roles, we would love to hear from you if you would like to be considered for a future opening. Please tell us about yourself, and specifically why you are interested in being a part of the Trello team. Then, when we are once again hiring and if we see a fit, we’ll get in touch! Interested? Read on to learn more about product management at Trello, and how to contact us.

As a Product Manager on the Trello team, you will…

  • work closely with other PMs and cross-functional teams
  • be responsible for a product roadmap, defining and prioritizing features
  • work with designers, developers and testers to build, develop, and execute on that roadmap

Qualities we cultivate and look for…

Empathy. For each other and for our users. We advocate tirelessly for the user and won’t rest until user experience is flawless.

Active listening. This is more than just hearing each other. We truly concentrate on each other’s and our applicants’ signals. We consider active listening fundamental to strong communication.

Autonomy. We trust each other to take the lead on a variety of projects and ideas. We count on each other’s active contributions in order to improve ourselves and our work.

You have…

  • previous product management experience, especially on a large-scale, multi-platform app with many stakeholders
  • a solid understanding of Trello, and what differentiates it from other products.
  • experience working with cross-functional teams (design, engineering, sales, marketing)
  • the drive and follow-through required to accomplish complex goals. You love nothing more than taking an idea, making a plan, and executing.
  • the ability to prioritize. Presented with competing imperatives and a mountain of data, you can identify and organize clear, concise actions.
  • outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling you to bridge gaps and collaborate across design, engineering, marketing, sales, customer support, and users.
  • It’s not necessary to have an explicitly technical background. We’re prioritizing adaptable, quick learners.
