The Product Manager is responsible for developing the vision, planning and execution for products offered by Xerox Legal Business Services. The role will have extended reach across the organization and work closely with management executives, sales, marketing, pricing and development. The Product Manager will serve as the voice to articulate the value proposition of our core offerings to our customers, prospects, market analysts and industry experts.

The role includes facilitating the ideation process, gathering needs requirements, evaluating market and research data, determining idea feasibility, prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with XLS’s design and implementation teams (e.g., Development / Testing, Sales, Marketing, Support and Operations).

The successful candidate for the Product Manager role is someone with a positive, can-do approach to evaluating and pursuing new ideas, and applying appropriate judgment to ensure that solutions meet customer expectations. The ideal candidate is someone capable of evangelizing our core products and company with excitement and passion. This key role will help our company with developing a compelling, innovative product portfolio and roadmap to grow our business and provide a clear competitive advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain development roadmaps and ensure technology investment is aligned with business goals.
  • Manage the entire product life cycle from strategic planning and tactical activities through adoption.
  • Perform market research and gather client feedback to transfer needs into product features.
  • Engage with customers, partners and analysts to gather and prioritize product requirements.
  • Work closely with Marketing and Development to develop and implement product launch plans.
  • Develop communication plans to ensure understanding of the capabilities for new product offers.
  • Evaluate existing and new legal technologies, market trends and competitive offerings.
  • Perform product writing and assistance for proposals, marketing documents, RFI and RFPs.
  • Promote released features – both internal and external promotion (e.g., Webinars, Demos, Product Release Notes, Training, Client Presentations).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum three (3) years’ experience creating product plans strategy, customer research, competitive analysis, product requirements, messaging, pricing analysis, etc.
  • Experience with e-discovery, legal technology, compliance or highly regulated markets a huge plus.
  • Experience with e-discovery technology platforms such as Relativity and other similar commercial platforms not required but a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively with people at all levels and groups in an organization.
  • Ability to express complex technical concepts concisely and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Interest in client product and offer presentations, working with people, giving demos, etc.
  • Travel as necessary to support sales activity, 10-25%.
