The Partner Marketing Manager is responsible building a co-marketing program for our integration partners, as well as executing joint marketing campaigns to drive business for GitHub and partners. You will work closely with the product marketing and platform marketing team to tailor GitHub’s messaging and campaigns for integrators, and the business development team to help drive our mutual success with partners.

You have a passion for building partner ecosystems and are energized by engaging with partners. You are creative, but driven by data and results and can think about the whole marketing funnel. And you are excited to bring your experience creating and driving successful partner marketing programs to hit the ground running at GitHub.

Our preference is for a US-based candidate, including in our San Francisco headquarters.

Responsibilities:

  • Build a scalable global partner marketing program to accelerate partner contribution to revenue
  • Develop and execute co-marketing programs with existing partners
  • Collaborate with field and channel marketing to ensure cohesive marketing execution in region
  • Work cross functionally with the events team and field marketing to drive partner engagement at in-person events
  • Manage communications with partners to ensure joint GTM success
  • Work with our business development team to identify and build partnerships with companies that align with company goals

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience in partner marketing within B2B space
  • Demonstrated ability to execute successful projects with minimal guidance in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational, program management skills to juggle multiple projects and requests
  • Ability to influence wide audiences at all levels and work effectively across functions and geographies
  • Must be comfortable contributing strategically as well as lead day-to-day tactical execution
  • Strong interpersonal skills; excellent written and oral communications skills; can do attitude
  • Solid understanding of developer workflows and tooling
  • Experience marketing to developers a plus
