Overview

The Media Specialist, Global Brand Media is primarily responsible for flawless execution of the day-to-day business operations of the global brand media group.  This person will ensure any/all reporting and buying details are seamlessly translated into GoDaddy internal processes and reporting.  Thisposition works closely with various teams across the organization, from Global Regional Marketing Directors to Legal to Business Analysis. This person will assist in the key performance indicators of the overall organization, including increased revenues, customer acquisitions, website traffic, and general public awareness of the GoDaddy brand.

What does the job entail?

  • Managethe day-to-day execution of the branded media channelsacross all GoDaddy global media spending
  • Day-to-day stewardship of a multi-million dollar annual budget across branded TV, digital brand video, radio, digital audio and out-of-home media portfolio
  • Work with media management lead to
    • Ensure media schedules are executed correctly, on time and within budget on a monthly basis
    • Identify and evaluatenew opportunities and added value opportunities
    • Develop the most data-driven solution in each region based on the tools and platform available
    • Provide monthly and quarterly reporting structure with agency business leads
    • Make sure any\all traffic needs are met to serve the proper creative executions
  • Work with Accounting to make sure any\all new, external vendors are set up properly in the system
  • Understanding of media demographics, media metrics (ratings, household impressions, CPM)
  • Making sure data is correct in the system so reports can be requested from business intelligence
  • Weekly and monthly evaluation of media results including reporting results to executive staff

  • Manage and organize multiple projects at one time and assure completion of projects in a timely manner
  • Must work well with internal peers and outside vendors, representing GoDaddy.com in a professional manner
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively (written, oral, presentation)
  • Must have intermediate to advanced MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
  • Willing to assume other responsibilities as needed
  • Education BA+ or equivalent.  Marketing emphasis a plus.
