Overview

The Acquisition Marketing Manager will own the end-to-end management of Treehouse’s B2B lead-generation marketing program. This role reports to the VP of marketing and is a highly collaborative role, working closely with fellow members of the marketing team and sales team.

The manager develops, executes, and optimizes a clearly defined, cross-channel marketing plan to acquire new, qualified enterprise customer leads for Treehouse. The managers will drive field sales enablement, demand generation and awareness through outbound marketing efforts across a variety of channels.

You must be an organized self-starter; the ability to adapt to rapid changes is a must, given our fast-paced environment with needs and goals often changing quickly. You’re an exceptional team player, who works well with engineers, designers, sales and your fellow marketing colleagues. This is an early hire on a growing marketing team at an innovative company that is primed to scale.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute against an iterative testing pipeline of digital and offline marketing channels, including content, display, tradeshows, and SEO, to drive MQLs (marketing qualified leads)
  • Collaborate with the other members of the marketing team to deliver focused marketing messages across existing paid and owned channels, including: paid search, affiliate, PR, and social media
  • Work closely with inside sales team to identify and target the most profitable categories of enterprise clients
  • Collaborate with the marketing content and communications team to build field sales enablement tools, including collateral, lead nurturing programs, and persona development.
  • Constantly monitor key competitors and share insights across the team
  • Develop and utilize channel-level dashboards to drive optimization decisions
  • Utilize exceptional project management skills to ensure projects and campaigns are delivered on time and within budget

Qualifications:

  • Requires 4-7 years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in a SaaS and/or subscription business
  • Demonstrated skills in launching, scaling and optimizing new B2B lead-gen acquisition programs
  • Hands-on experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce and marketing automation tools such as Marketo and HubSpot
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment; positive in the face of uncertainty
  • Commitment to working cross-functionally in a collaborative, team-centered culture
  • Motivated self-starter with a sense of ownership
  • Attention to detail and accuracy and strong analytical skills
