Overview

Be our mini “CMO”. You will work cross-functionally with sales, account management, and partner managers as well as the broader Plus marketing team. Their key objective will be to help grow our customer base and market presence in Australia. This person should be a massively talented doer who can crank out impossible amounts of work – they need to be proactive and able to instigate change.

Requirements for the role:

  • Demand generation/lead generation experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster optimal department relationships
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Highly organized and creative problem solving skills, and detail oriented
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • 5+ years of experience in a related role

BONUS:

  • Product marketing experience
  • Ecommerce experience
  • In-depth experience with at least one marketing channel
  • B2B SaaS and a background in technology

Projects you could work on:

  • Execution of various demand/lead generation activities including local events, case studies and content/PR
  • Provide market insights and feedback to Shopify Plus teams so we can quickly iterate and improve our approach
  • Understand the Shopify Plus funnel and growth levers and ensures all activities are aligned with overarching objectives
  • Work hand in hand with Sales and Partner teams to localize positioning and communicate the Shopify Plus offering to that market
  • Be intimately familiar with the Shopify Plus products, market conditions and competitors in this region
  • Providing feedback to broader Shopify Plus teams about the market, what’s working, what’s not, and what else is required to augment the growth strategy
