The 1Password Solutions Architect team is a trusted resource for guiding customers through the implementation of our most advanced solutions. We work closely with our customers and colleagues to deploy, test, develop, and implement our SCIM bridge, CLI scripts, internal tools, and more. Our collaboration extends to teams in Solutions Engineering, Onboarding, Technical Writing, Product, Enablement, and beyond. Our ultimate goal is to enhance the customer journey as they embark on their 1Password experience.

As a Junior Solutions Architect, you will engage directly with our customers to plan and implement 1Password products and technical solutions, such as Device Trust, SSO for 1Password, and the Events API. You will collaborate closely with your team to develop and refine solutions to customer challenges, continually seeking opportunities to enhance their experience with 1Password’s products and services.

This is a remote opportunity within the US and Canada.

What we’re looking for:

    • 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role with a preference for experience in a SaaS/Security/Technology environment.
    • An understanding of IdP providers, an ability to describe how they work and operate, the differences between them – bonus points if you have experience configuring policies within them
    • A basic understanding of SaaS products and cloud infrastructure
    • The ability to take on new technologies and products with the challenges they bring and quickly become a resource for the rest of your team.
    • A proven ability to work with other team members and to nurture healthy relationships across the many teams this role would have you interface with.
    • A love for creating and testing solutions and for determining the root causes of problems customers face. 
    • A desire for creating great documentation and refining processes to not only share your knowledge with your team but to make the work more efficient.
    • An strong interest or history working within cybersecurity
    • A strong desire to learn and expand your knowledge.

What you can expect:

    • Work directly with our customers to implement 1Password products like Extended Access Management’s Device Trust, SSO for 1Password, etc. on an average to moderate call load
    • Collaborate with our friends in Onboarding to plan and execute on implementations
    • Write and manage knowledge-base content for internal use by your team
    • Record videos to share with customers on how to perform tasks if needed
    • Serve as a  resource for Go-to-market for questions regarding 1Password and XAM.
    • Work with the rest of your team to create materials for learning about and using 1Password and Extended Access Management.

USA-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $89,000 USD and $121,000 USD and is commission-eligible. The role is also eligible for immediate participation in 1Password’s benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.

Canada-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $89,000 CAD and $121,000 CAD and is commission-eligible. The role is also eligible for immediate participation in 1Password’s generous benefits program (health, dental, RRSP and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.

We believe in the power of remote work, but we also recognize that some in-person connection with team members and customers is important to help us achieve our mission. While we are a remote-first company, occasional travel for in-person engagement will be a part of this role. This may include but is not limited to bi-annual department-wide offsites, quarterly department meetings and periodic customer events. These events will typically be held in varying locations across Canada and the USA. In leadership roles, you can expect to travel once per month on average.
