This position is part of GoDaddy Learning (the corporate learning and development function within GoDaddy) and is focused on designing and developing in-person learning programs. The primary role of this position is to apply instructional design theory to building engaging, transformative instructor-led training. This role requires a deep understanding of the instructional design profession.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop creative learner-centered in-person training programs, modules, and materials in multiple modalities including synchronous and asynchronous remote learning, classroom learning, videos, device learning labs, job aids, facilitator guides and resource materials. Topics include customer care center products and sales.
  • Perform needs and task analysis, scope projects, and evaluate existing documentation to identify options and recommend the most appropriate learning strategy to meet the performance needs of each audience across multiple locations.
  • Engage with stakeholders, including executive sponsors, cross-functional subject matter experts (SMEs), prospective learners and others to support learning projects.
  • Drive and ensure best practices standardization across all projects, content and sites.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Adult Learning Theory, Instructional Design, or a relevant field of study is highly preferred; Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study and appropriate relevant experience also accepted
  • Three (3) years of experience designing learning for in-person delivery and experience with creating instructional design for onboarding, sales, and product training
  • Experience designing simulations, role plays, hands-on activities
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning theory
  • Creation of business skills workshops
  • Strong program management skills, ability to track multiple tasks and set deadlines
