The role
The Head of People leads VRChat’s lean People function, supporting a globally distributed, fully remote team. You will own the people programs that help managers and employees do their best work, from performance cycles to employee relations, and you will partner with leadership on how the company grows its team and culture.
What you will do
Lead the People function and team. Run performance calibration and support fair, consistent performance processes. Coach managers on feedback, growth and difficult conversations. Handle employee relations matters with care and consistency. Maintain leveling and compensation practices that stay fair across a distributed team. Own and improve onboarding so new hires ramp quickly in a remote environment.
What you bring
Experience leading People / HR work for globally distributed, remote teams. Strength across performance management, manager coaching, employee relations, leveling and compensation, and onboarding. The judgment to balance employee experience with business needs in a lean team.
