As an engineer on our Admissions team, you will be working to support our mission to democratize education and help make sure students are prepared for successful outcomes in our most advanced Nanodegree programs like Self Driving Car Engineer and Artificial Intelligence. You will be working in an isomorphic Javascript stack (React and Node) with a true full stack focus, to create a fair and delightful admissions experience that provides valuable feedback for hundreds of thousands of applicants across the world.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive new feature development and help to refine the admissions process that gates our most advanced programs.
  • Ship code for an extremely high visibility product, every day.
  • Write high-performance code designed to scale.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years of software engineering experience.
  • A love of Javascript.
  • Experience with Node.
  • Experience with front end JS frameworks, React is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with relational databases, Postgres preferred.
  • Experience with distributed systems and Docker.
  • An engineering mindset.
  • A user-centric mentality for building products.
  • Passionate about education.
