Overview

Bustle.com is a new force in media: a news, entertainment, lifestyle, and fashion site for young women driven by a diverse and energetic collection of contributors.

What we have in common with each other and our readers is that we’re insatiably curious about the world. We care about what’s working and what isn’t, about fashion, politics, technology, diversity, books, celebrities, health, beauty, work, friendship, and how to make amazing food on a budget. These are the stories we deliver every day in a format that’s always getting better, quicker, and more engaging.

Elite Daily is seeking creative remote, part-time writers to contribute thoughtful content on fitness topics to the site’s “Life” vertical.

Writers should be passionate about health, interested in building and promoting body confidence in our readers, and ahead of the trends for all things fitness related. We’re looking for an out of the box thinker who finds a simple list of yoga poses boring, and will always find a way to spice up a topic everyone is talking about. Topics may include workout routines, healthy food regimens, workout playlists, etc. Having a particular area of fitness expertise/interest is encouraged.

***PLEASE NOTE, we’re looking for someone who can produce content about achieving a healthy body and a lifestyle that one can feel confident in and proud of. No guides about “achieving beach bods” or celeb bodies is allowed.***

Writers should bring a unique perspective and a definitive voice to their work. We should definitely be able to hear your voice shine through in your cover letter (applications without a cover letter will not be considered!).

Ideal candidates should hold a degree in journalism, communications, English, nutrition or similar. We’re looking for people with at least two years of writing experience (internships/personal blogs count) who are willing to commit to at least 3 days per week during a 9-4 shift.

Writers will work remotely.
