Bustle.com is a new force in media: a news, entertainment, lifestyle, and fashion site for young women driven by a diverse and energetic collection of contributors.

What we have in common with each other and our readers is that we’re insatiably curious about the world. We care about what’s working and what isn’t, about fashion, politics, technology, diversity, books, celebrities, health, beauty, work, friendship, and how to make amazing food on a budget. These are the stories we deliver every day in a format that’s always getting better, quicker, and more engaging.

Bustle Digital Group is seeking remote, part-time Fashion & Beauty writers to cover fashion and beauty news (celeb news/brand news/product launches), features (essays/editorials), and/or service (how-tos/experiments).

When Glossier drops a new product, are you the first to freak out? Please apply. Obsessed with celebrity hair transformations? We want you. Always excited about next season’s must-have bag/shoe/coat/etc? Hit us up. Got your eye on the Saffiano Mini Promenade Bag for spring? Same.

Candidates should have a unique voice, innovative ideas, and at least two years of editorial experience, ideally within the Fashion & Beauty sphere (personal blogs count!).

Writers interested in one, two, or all three Fashion & Beauty areas (news, features, or service) are encouraged to apply. Part-time writers must be available to contribute remotely at least two days per week, six hours a day during business hours (weekends are an option).

In your application, please tell us which position you’d be the best fit for (news, features, or service) and if that’d fall under Fashion, Beauty, or both.

Please note: this is a staff role; this is not a freelance position.

  • A passion for fashion and/or beauty
  • A strong voice and innovative ideas
  • 2+ years writing experience (personal blogs count!)
  • Availability to work remotely at least two days a week, in six hour shifts
