Given our growth rate of over 300% last year, the time has come to hire a Director of Sales Enablement to revolutionize sales at InVision. This person will create an enablement program consisting of compelling stories, engaging assets, and an architecture for continual improvement, that will result in a growth in sales by a more effective, empowered sales force.

Objectives/What You’ll Do:

  • Prioritize and align enablement needs by identifying biggest practice and asset gaps between where we are now and our updated sales strategy.
  • Create a story-telling sales culture: Change the culture of our sales organization to be story-oriented and direct the production of assets and messaging that support this culture. This will include: revisiting sales assets and pitches, documenting and integrating use cases and customer stories, determining if “named account” sales efforts have appropriate messaging, and experimenting with a subset of the sales team where appropriate.
  • Define a framework for Go-to-market execution/product launch including sales deck, script/storytelling integration
  • Create and integrate adjacent persona messaging and materials. Define value proposition for engineers, project managers, product managers, business stakeholders, etc.
  • Find and integrate industry best practices.
  • Own the Sales playbook
  • Support Key Sales Opportunities
  • Develop content and programs for annual Sales Kickoff meetings
  • Design and lead new hire on-boarding programs for AEs.
  • Continually hunt down, document and integrate success stories into our sales efforts.
  • Define success metrics and KPIs.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven ability to communicate (written and oral) in a variety of situations with a variety of parties including
    • bridging the gap between product, marketing and sales
    • studied understanding of user and organizational needs through contextual research, metrics and publications
    • work with product and marketing to craft messaging and materials that describe how InVision meets those needs
    • speaking publicly in front of customers and prospects on a variety of topics ranging from InVision value propositions to cutting-edge design trends.
  • Ability to define clear, measurable objectives and plans that lead to achieving those objectives
  • Experience defining, delivering and selling enterprise products
  • Understanding of, and a deep interest in, the product design and definition process
  • Organization, planning, and project management experience
  • Ability to drive consensus amongst various stakeholders, often with different priorities
  • Willingness to learn and adapt
