Overview

This position will work closely with AR LBPs to develop tools and analyze data to support AR Learning. They will work with support groups to build metrics and visibility for how sites are performing to standard work across AR Learning. Role will directly report to the Principle LBP.

At WW Operations (WWOps) Talent Management, we use data to drive all our decision making. The Talent Analytics team acts as an internal provider of analytical solutions, using quantitative approaches to uncover insight to drive changes and inform decisions. As a Business Intelligence Engineer (BIE), you will work on a team transforming massive, complex data into quantifiable relationships, trends and actionable insights. We are looking for a strong problem-solver, who is skilled using quantitative methods to get things done.

In this role, you will scope and execute analyses to formulate conclusions and recommendations to be presented to AR Learning Business Partners on related opportunities. You will also be responsible for producing insights that will help shape effective strategies to better meet AR Learning Network needs. You will collaborate closely with AR Learning Business Partners and Learning Teams across the network to design reporting and tools, test hypotheses, predict outcomes and determine solutions.

This role requires a significant understanding of data mining and analytical techniques. You will be expected to deliver at a high level against ambiguous problems with minimal technical supervision. The successful candidate will have strong technical and analytical capabilities, business acumen, effective communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with AR Learning in a fast paced environment.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Β· Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Math, Computer Science, Engineering, Econometrics
Β· 3+ years’ experience in a quantitative or analytical role
Β· Proficiency in SQL
Β· Knowledge of data modeling; experience in ETL, data warehousing and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
Β· Experience in designing and implementing custom reporting using BI tools including Tableau/ MicroStrategy/ Power BI

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Β· Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Math, Computer Science, Engineering, Econometrics
Β· Fluency in R, Ruby on Rails, Python or a similar programming language
Β· Experience working in the areas of machine learning, inferential statistics and predictive modeling
Β· Demonstrated ability to analyze complex issues, use data and metrics to back up assumptions and make actionable recommendations
Β· Experience in delivering solutions using AWS technologies
