Overview

Mobile Nations operates several sites in the consumer technology space. The 4 core sites are broadly divided along mobile operating system lines with an additional 3 sites in product categories of VR, Tesla and Consumer Deals.

Each site has its own cloud of keywords together with posts targeting those keywords. We use commonly available tools to analyse and monitor those keywords and of course traffic in general.

We market two broad bases of content, editorial and commerce, with stakeholders for each. In places, and at times, weโ€™re disciplined about ranking with targeted content. However weโ€™re not consistent enough.

Role

Working remotely and reporting to the Commerce Director the role sits between editorial and commerce teams working closely with both to increase the keywords we capture with new targeted content as well as providing the consistent base of monitoring and analysis required to keep existing content performing well.

Additionally we service a number of 3rd parties with sponsorship and promotion opportunities that apply to relevant pages within our network, you will be part of the team that services their need by providing input on suitable content for those campaigns.

  • Own and analyse search intent, volume and keywords for each site
  • Research and suggest new kw to target content (editorial and commercial) at
  • Work closely with content editors to improve editorial content traffic
  • Work closely with commerce editors to improve commerce traffic
  • Work closely with ad-hoc teams assembled to execute on 3rd party campaigns
  • Provide keyword reporting and analysis to stakeholders
  • Report to the Commercial Director

KPIs and Goals

  • Improvement in overall search volume captured
  • Ensure, at any time, ย site content programmers know their highest ROI content and the highest ROI content they should be targetting from your POV
  • Report on the highest value KWs we own, our ranking history and targeted content
  • Agreed highest value KWs you feel we should target with content teams

Requirements

  • 3+ years in a search engine optimization role
  • 3+ years in digital publisher
  • Experience commissioning and refining content for traffic
  • Persuasion and Communication skills
