Overview

Box is growing rapidly, and the world is eager to see how well the company can scale.  In order to meet our aggressive growth goals, we must enable our Channel Partners to implement Box as part of a broader digital strategy and help customers to solve advanced problems. The Channel Solution Architect will guide System Integrators on solution design and best practices for building on, integrating with, and customizing the Box Cloud Content Management Platform. You will translate Box product capabilities into clear guidance for System Integrator developers. You will be the Box Platform product expert within our partner community.

In this role, you will assist in the dynamic lifecycle of onboarding, educating, and enabling System Integrator partners on the Box Platform, and supporting the Channel Sales Team. This role will include in-depth architecture discussions (and whiteboarding), working directly with SI Developer resources, working with RFPs and Security Audits, and providing Channel Partner feedback and insights into the Product Management, Platform and Engineering functions at Box.  You will work alongside Account Executives, Channel Managers, and fellow Sales Engineers to nurture opportunities, and will spend a fair percentage of time in the field (travel required), to design and architect Box solutions.

Why the team needs you

Box is growing fast. Real fast. Every business in the world is looking to modernize the ways they work. As the leader in Cloud Content Management, Box is the only company that can help enterprises transform how people work together. The Box Channel Systems Integrator ecosystem is growing like crazy (currently about 80 SI Partners strong), including Global Systems Integrators and Regional Systems Integrators.  We’re paving the way as the leader in Cloud Content Platform Solutions, while also working to enable our Systems Integration partners to build on, integrate with, and customize our Platform. By joining Box, you will have the opportunity to help capture the majority of the Cloud Content Management market and define what content management looks like for the digital enterprise. Innovation and speed are our greatest competitive differentiators. You’ll be working for the leader in Cloud Content Management, and learning valuable skills to take you far in your career.

You are able to make recommendations on architecture design best practices at the Developer level/code-level. You are ideally based on the East Coast, based on the geographic distribution of our strategic SI Partners. You have great communication skills and are able to articulate the unique value of the Box Platform to our partners. You are able to provide specific code-level guidance on how to build on, integrate with, and customize the Box Platform to support the needs of our joint customers.

Why Box needs you

We need to enable our Systems Integrators to be able to build on, integrate with, and customize the Box Platform to help our joint customers transform the way they work.  That’s where you come in. You are able to articulate design and architecture concepts to a Developer audience. You love explaining technical concepts and teaching people how to be successful with Box Platform implementations. You love whiteboarding, answering tough questions, and working with others. You are able to manage multiple work streams with multiple partners and customers, in parallel, and you can keep it all straight.

Why you need Box

You get the opportunity to flex your technical muscle with your coding skills in .NET, Java, Node.js, Javascript, Python, Salesforce (Apex/force.com), and others.
