Dribbble is a community for designers to share and promote their work, discover and follow peers, explore design, and get hired for freelance and full-time jobs. We’re a small, tight-knit company of 20 employees looking for a Business Intelligence Summer Intern.

This is a full-time, ~3.5 month contract (we’re flexible!), remote position for someone in the United States or Canada. As an intern working directly with the CEO to dig into key business performance metrics, here are some of the things you’ll focus on:

  • Gather metrics and build reports in order to share key performance indicators with the team
  • Analyze data to uncover potential opportunities, generate hypotheses, and quickly assess the size of opportunities
  • Bias towards immediate action and results
  • Monitor, optimize and report on key business metrics and split-test results
  • Run exploratory analysis to surface additional growth possibilities
  • Make product recommendations based on analytical findings

REQUIREMENTS

  • Advanced Excel skill set
  • You can write SQL in your sleep
  • You have familiarity with LookML
  • Knowledge of commonly used analytics tools, such as Google Analytics and Looker
  • Have experience analyzing data to make better decisions and an understanding of statistical significance and confidence intervals
  • Are intrinsically motivated, manager of one
  • Have or will start a business in the future
  • You come up with creative solutions to challenging problems
  • You may or may not have design skills, but you have an eye for beautiful design
