As the Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for acquiring new content partners for UFB. Your role will be to develop partnerships with individual experts and organizations to bring new courses to the UFB collection – courses that will make a massive difference in the quality, diversity, and sales of our product.

We are looking for a highly motivated, driven and tenacious executor with a passion for online education to be the first point of contact with potential new content partners. You will generate and qualify new leads, spearhead outreach efforts, deliver the pitch, and bring new partners over the finish line to distribute their courses on Udemy for Business.  Please note that this is a part-time contractor role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Achieve course quota and quality goals.
  • Collaborate with the UFB Content Strategy Team to prioritize course acquisition to meet customer demand.
  • Develop and execute on call strategies and messaging to drive opportunities for new business with content partners.
  • Develop, nurture and close content partnerships with industry experts, publishers, and companies to distribute courses on the UFB platform.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of proven track record of success in relevant work experience, preferably in a sales or business development related field.
  • Amazing client management, business communication and relationship building skills.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Excellent time management and strong organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce and sales prospecting tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment.
  • Passion for technology and online education.
  • High energy and positive attitude.

WORK STRUCTURE & COMPENSATION

This is a part-time contract position (20 hours). Though Udemy is based in San Francisco, this is a remote role based in the US. Nonetheless, we’d still love for you to embrace our mission, culture, philosophies, and team.
