Cloud Assessments, a Linux Academy brand, is seeking a top-notch Brand Manager to be part of building our exciting new brand. We are completely changing the way professionals train around cloud technologies, and the way that companies find & hire talent.

Using Artificial Intelligence and our expertise of e-learning and cloud needs, we’ve built a platform which gives users tailored training based on their current skillset. Not only has this never been done before with cloud training, but it’s only the beginning of our vision.

The Brand Manager we are looking for will lead the brand strategy for Cloud Assessments, and will be responsible for understanding our customers inside and out. From knowing what our target audience’s main challenges are and knowing where their attention is, to understanding how our product solves some of today’s major cloud, hiring, and training challenges, the person in this position will have to know exactly how to communicate with our target audience.

They will also oversee the creation and maintenance of a feedback channel between our target audience and our internal teams to ensure we understand exactly how to market our offerings both internally and externally to maximize our marketing efforts.

This is a critical position to the success of Cloud Assessments’ brand, and we are looking for someone who will take ownership of our brand and its communication to the world. This position comes with high expectations because it will have a large impact.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Perform marketing research to determine consumer attitudes regarding our brand name and competing brands
  • Research and understand our target consumers and their buying journey
  • Research and understand what competitors are doing: what’s working for them? Why? How we can we use it to our advantage?
  • Identify influencers in our space
  • Assist in crafting engaging copy for marketing campaigns including emails / customer communication.
  • Coordinate with other parts of marketing to track and set objectives around metrics, analytics, events, and ads
  • Create and maintain marketing and sales materials.
  • Create compelling marketing banners for display and social media ads.
  • Develop, implement, and manage support for all aspects of the social media campaigns including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.
  • Provide Q&A support on social media channels.
  • Assist in weekly reports for Google Analytics, marketing campaigns, social media, email, conversions, and SEO.
  • Become an expert in our product to passionately communicate Cloud Assessments’ value to new and existing customers.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail oriented.
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, social media, and marketing campaigns required
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficient with MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
  • Ability to learn quickly and figure things out, even if you don’t have experience in a specific tool or topic. For example: tools to run webinars, how to work with HubSpot, etc…
  • Ability to extract and craft a story out of data, even if that data seems boring and dry
  • An intense passion for helping people grow and learn.
  • A curious and relentless mindset towards understanding customers and their needs
  • Travel required – 15%
