Back-End Engineer

Overview

We’re hiring a back-end engineer to pioneer new assessment types that fundamentally alter the way kids learn.

Requirements

• You have at least 2 years of professional experience as a software developer or equivalent knowledge
• You are experienced and comfortable with backend engineering
• You’re comfortable with Linux or OSX and MySQL or PostgreSQL
• You value code quality and well tested code
• You can be your own DBA including setup, optimization and troubleshooting
• You are comfortable either working remotely, or commuting to our office in San Francisco
• You’re excited about working with Elixir and Elm
