Overview

We are looking for an experienced affiliate marketer who can build and manage a strategic affiliate marketing program from the ground up. The affiliate landscape in the website building and hosting spaces is highly competitive and evolving. The role will involve not just on-boarding established affiliates but cultivating influencers and other current or potential partners to become Automattic affiliates. The WordPress name carries a lot of weight and the Affiliate Wrangler will need to think creatively about how to fully leverage the brand across new affiliate opportunities.

You:

  • Have experience building the technical backbone needed to start an affiliate program.
  • Can build and maintain relationships with affiliate partners.
  • Have negotiated paid placement opportunities, commission, and volume goals.
  • Provide reporting based on KPI’s on a regular basis.
  • Have strong interpersonal and communications skills (oral and written).
